Cambium launches Wi-Fi 7 AP in Asia

Cambium Networks introduces its new X7-56X Wi-Fi 7 access point for the Asia Pacific region.

The device is designed to deliver targeted RF coverage, increased capacity, and lower total cost of ownership by leveraging Wi-Fi 7 and the 6 GHz frequency band. According to the company, the X7-56X AP addresses the growing demand for smarter wireless design in environments with high user density, supporting enterprises that require advanced connectivity solutions. Cambium Networks is providing further details on the product through a dedicated regional webinar for interested stakeholders.

Cambium Networks previously launched high density Wi-Fi 7 access points aimed at optimizing RF performance in crowded public venues, according to an earlier announcement. The company has also announced plans to end support for its LINKPlanner Desktop, outlining a transition to the online version and a related webinar in July, as detailed in a separate update. These moves highlight Cambium’s ongoing focus on product development and customer migration strategies.
