  • The price of gold per 10 grams in Pakistan increases by Rs2,058 to Rs353,340, mirroring global bullion trends.

Local bullion rates climb with global market

As reported by Business Recorder, citing the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, gold prices in Pakistan increase on Monday in line with gains in the international market.

In the local market, the price of gold per tola reaches Rs412,136 after rising by Rs2,400 during the day. The price of 10 grams of gold also increases by Rs2,058 to Rs353,340.

In international trading, the gold rate rises by $24 to $3,896 per ounce, providing the main trigger for the move in domestic prices.

Silver also strengthens in Pakistan market

Silver prices also post an increase alongside gold in the local market. The price of silver rises by Rs100 to reach Rs5,488 per tola.

The latest move reflects how Pakistan's precious metals market remains closely tied to shifts in global bullion prices, with local rates adjusting as international benchmarks change.

Our earlier coverage on Pakistan’s retail fuel price revision for October 15 explained how the government adjusted ex-depot rates, raising petrol while slightly cutting high-speed diesel under its regular pricing mechanism. That update emphasized that domestic energy costs were being driven by global market developments and international benchmarks, with crude price moves feeding into local pricing decisions.
