The company claims its patented technology delivers exceptional accuracy and clarity, even when recording in challenging nighttime conditions. PlateRanger is positioned as a solution for continuous video-based plate capture, offering law enforcement and security operators more reliable vehicle identification tools.

SoundThinking previously introduced CrimeTracer Gen3 to the Tempe Police Department, centralizing investigative data for local law enforcement operations. The company has also deployed ShotSpotter in Goldsboro, delivering real-time alerts to help police improve response times in the area. These initiatives form part of SoundThinking’s growing portfolio of public safety solutions.
