Corbus hits obesity trial milestone

Corbus Pharmaceuticals Holdings, Inc. has announced that the last patient has completed their first visit in the CANYON-1 Phase 1b clinical trial of CRB-913, an investigational treatment for obesity.

The 16-week, dose-ranging study includes 240 participants and aims to generate pivotal early-stage data on the therapy. According to the company, the trial remains on track for completion in the summer of 2026. CRB-913 is being evaluated as a potential new option in the growing field of obesity therapeutics.

Corbus previously presented CRB-913 as an oral CB1 inverse agonist therapy for obesity at the BMO Metabolic Health Summit in March. The company is also advancing CRB-701, a next-generation antibody-drug conjugate targeting Nectin-4 overexpression in aggressive solid tumors, according to an earlier update from Corbus. Both programs highlight the company’s ongoing focus on novel therapeutics in high-need areas.
