Stereotaxis launches U.S. robotic procedures

Stereotaxis, Inc. has enabled the first robotic arm procedures in the U.S. for complex congenital heart disease (CHD) patients, using its MAGiC system. The initial case involved a patient with recurrent atrial flutter who had not been treatable with manual techniques, but achieved successful treatment through robotic intervention via arm access.

The procedure was performed by Dr. McConkey and the OHSU School of Medicine team. The company emphasized that this marks a significant advance in robotic cardiology and expands minimally invasive treatment options for patients previously deemed untreatable with conventional methods.

Earlier this month, Stereotaxis announced the launch of its remote TeleRobotic Test Drive, providing demonstrations of its RoboticEP technology. The company is also scheduled to present a Live-in-the-Box robotic electrophysiology session with Prof. Sabine Ernst at EHRA2026 in ten days. These initiatives follow continued efforts to expand access to robotic electrophysiology techniques.
