Cambium Networks has introduced the X7-55X Wi-Fi 7 indoor access point, as previewed by The Tolly Group.
This new device features a software-definable third radio capable of operating in the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands or supporting high-density 5 GHz configurations, targeting enterprise environments seeking enhanced wireless performance and flexibility. Cambium Networks aims to address the growing demand for scalable, high-speed business connectivity through this latest release.
Cambium Networks has made previous moves to boost connectivity in enterprise and outdoor settings. The company advanced strategies for WISP providers by urging transition to the ePMP 4000 and leveraging Force 4518 and 4616 for scaling, as reported in its WISP growth initiative. Cambium also collaborated with partners to deliver simplified, scalable Wi-Fi to RV parks using ONE Network, according to an earlier deployment project.
