Pacific Biosciences has previously used AI and DeepConsensus to improve HiFi sequencing accuracy and reduce genome costs to $345, according to a recent company update. The firm also promoted whole genome sequencing as a tool for early and proactive intervention in newborn care in a separate initiative. These developments highlight continuing efforts to expand sequencing access and applications.
