EnCore Energy uranium project clears hurdle

enCore Energy has obtained all required federal permits for its 100 percent-owned Dewey Burdock In-Situ Recovery uranium project.

The company remains subject to further permitting from the State of South Dakota before proceeding. enCore Energy has now commenced the next steps in the regulatory process as it advances one of the flagship uranium development projects in the U.S.

enCore Energy previously received NRC approval for the Dewey Burdock uranium project, supporting progress in U.S. domestic uranium development, according to a past report. The company also finalized construction at its Upper Spring Creek ISR uranium facility in an effort to advance its operational strategy in the sector, as noted in an earlier update. These milestones come as enCore proceeds with additional regulatory steps for Dewey Burdock.
