Byrna unveils Pull-Pierce launchers

Byrna Technologies Inc. has unveiled its Pull-Pierce technology enabling users to load a CO₂ cartridge into personal safety launchers without piercing it until needed.

This design keeps the device in a ready state while preserving cartridge integrity, offering users improved reliability for self-defense scenarios. Byrna Technologies Inc. is positioning this product as a non-lethal option for personal safety and self-defense.

Byrna Technologies previously reported the use of its Byrna SD device to deter a mountain lion during a close wildlife encounter. The company has also added an oil cartridge to every 10 pack of CO₂, providing easy launcher maintenance for users. These updates follow ongoing product launches aimed at self-defense and customer utility.
