Vuzix to present waveguide design advances at MicroLED Connect event in Eindhoven — Vuzix to present at MicroLED Connect

Vuzix announced that Rob Schultz, Vice President of Advanced Optics, will present at MicroLED Connect + AR/VR Connect 2026 in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, on September 16–17.

Schultz’s session, titled Facing Modern Challenges in Waveguide Design and Manufacturing, will address technical hurdles and advances in the field. Participants interested in meetings are encouraged to contact the company ahead of the event.

Vuzix recently shipped its first waveguide-based optical interconnect samples targeting AI data centers and next-generation connectivity solutions, according to a company announcement. The firm also claims its M400 smart glasses can reduce ramp time to proficiency to 90 minutes, compared to four to six hours for traditional voice setups, as detailed in a previous report. These developments reflect ongoing technical advances across Vuzix's product portfolio.
