Ledger device setup adds secondary PIN for hidden accounts
Ledger launches enhanced device security

Ledger has announced improved security measures allowing users to set up a passphrase directly on their device, rather than on a computer.

This update lets customers either enter a temporary passphrase for each session or use a secondary PIN to access hidden accounts, raising protection levels for sensitive digital assets.

Ledger previously launched the Nano Gen5 upgrade, which prompted positive feedback from users transitioning to the enhanced wallet. The company also introduced its AI Security Roadmap focused on addressing rogue agent threats with new hardware-based approval processes. These developments form part of Ledger's ongoing efforts to strengthen user protection across its wallet solutions.
