Support holds above Kijun as structure stays mixed

Price is testing support from the Ichimoku Kijun at $275.22 without breaking it. The daily structure is mixed, as shares of CME Group are currently below the MA-20 and MA-200 but above the MA-50. Stoch RSI nearing oversold territory suggests the recent decline is getting stretched and may encourage stabilization.

Upside probabilities dominate as traders watch $275.22 for direction

To assess whether recent developments are being priced in, traders should watch reactions around $275.22. Shares have been probing this Kijun support level but have not moved decisively through it. Although price action has stayed relatively contained within a narrow range over the past week, from here there is more than an 80% probability of upside and less than a 20% probability of downside for the coming trading week, with an expected range of $270.94 to $281.07. A close above $278.48 would show buyers are willing to follow through, while a drop below $275.22 would indicate the move is being faded. On the weekly chart, the longer-term picture stays constructive.

Previously it was reported that CME Group expanded its product lineup with the launch of financially settled TTF Natural Gas Calendar Spread options to enhance time-spread trading capabilities. The introduction of E-mini Factor futures adds further breadth to CME Group’s offerings, and with shares holding above key support, traders should monitor whether a close above $278.48 confirms upside follow-through in the coming week.
