Epic Aura integration to add Fulgent Genetics testing to provider workflows — Fulgent Genetics joins Epic Aura

Fulgent Genetics announced plans to join the Epic Aura network in the fourth quarter of 2026, enabling healthcare providers to order Fulgent testing and receive results within the existing Epic workflow.

The company also stated that its Showroom listing is now live, signaling initial availability and integration effort with the widely used healthcare IT platform. This move aims to streamline diagnostic processes for medical teams already utilizing Epic systems.

Fulgent recently added 188 genes to its skeletal dysplasia panel and 29 to its vascular malformation panel, increasing coverage for rare disease diagnostics, according to a previous update (here). The company also offers 18,000 single gene tests and 900 panel tests from a single laboratory, while inviting providers to suggest new menu options (here). These steps reflect Fulgent’s ongoing focus on expanding test availability for healthcare providers.
