AEMETIS connects 16th dairy to biogas project as expansion continues
AEMETIS expands dairy biogas project

AEMETIS has completed the installation of a new dairy digester as part of its Biogas Central Digester Project. The latest addition brings the total number of dairies connected to the initiative to 16.

The company stated that further expansion is underway, signaling continued investment in biogas infrastructure and renewable energy solutions linked to the dairy industry.

Earlier this year, AEMETIS received $22.4 million from the sale of Section 45Z clean fuel production tax credits. The transaction strengthened the company’s cash position. The ongoing biogas project aligns with previous efforts to expand its renewable energy footprint.
