D-Wave Quantum has launched a beta program offering select customers early access to its new gate-model simulator. The initiative enables participants to experiment with error-aware programming and begin developing quantum applications in anticipation of D-Wave Quantum future gate-model systems.

The company aims to provide resources for users to prepare for the deployment of its advanced quantum computing offerings.

In August, D-Wave Quantum finalized an agreement with the U.S. Commerce Department for up to $100 million in CHIPS Act funding, according to a previous announcement. The company has also formed a partnership with CGI Global to develop practical quantum computing solutions in logistics, transport, and retail sectors, as detailed in an earlier report. These initiatives support D-Wave Quantum's efforts to expand its technology and commercial reach.
