D-Wave Quantum joins SCMRC partnership

D-Wave Quantum has announced a new collaboration with the Supply Chain Management Research Center (SCMRC) at the University of Arkansas' Walton College of Business to examine the impact of quantum computing on complex supply chain challenges.

The company also revealed it has joined the SCMRC partnership program, expanding its involvement with research and industry organizations focused on logistics and supply chain innovation.

D-Wave Quantum recently finalized an agreement with the U.S. Commerce Department for up to $100 million in CHIPS Act funding, according to a previous report. The company has also partnered with CGI Global to develop practical quantum computing solutions for logistics, transport, and retail sectors, as detailed in earlier coverage. These initiatives reflect D-Wave’s continued expansion into commercial quantum applications.
