D-Wave Quantum launches beta program

D-Wave Quantum has launched the beta program for its new gate-model quantum computing simulator. This initiative will allow select commercial and research organizations to experiment with error-aware programming as part of the beta.

Participants are being given early access to tools and capabilities in preparation for the release of new technologies from D-Wave Quantum.

Earlier, D-Wave Quantum finalized an agreement with the U.S. Commerce Department for up to $100 million in CHIPS Act funding, according to company disclosures. The company has also partnered with CGI Global to drive practical uses of quantum computing in logistics, transport, and retail sectors, as reported in previous announcements. These initiatives signal D-Wave’s ongoing engagements with government and industry partners.
