Kraken Exchange approved in Dubai

Kraken Exchange has received Full Market Approval from Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, allowing it to expand operations into the region.

The company announced that users will soon be able to fund accounts in dirhams, trade AED pairs, and access on-chain staking services in Dubai. The rollout is expected to take place in the coming weeks.

Kraken Exchange previously enabled retail investors to request Oura IPO shares at the launch price through its xStocks platform. The platform also allowed users to participate in Oura ring IPO tokenized equities on the same terms as institutions, expanding access to primary market offerings for individuals. These initiatives mark recent steps by the company to broaden its product suite beyond traditional crypto trading.
