Blend Labs adds chat document access

Blend Labs announced that its Navigator feature now allows loan officers to open provider documents without leaving the chat interface. Previously, loan officers could only receive answers about specific forms such as W-2s, but with the latest update they can directly view the underlying documents.

The update also lets users verify which borrowers have actually received disclosures, moving beyond a single completed status for confirmations.

Blend Labs launched Autopilot earlier this year, providing instant W-2 document reviews for borrowers to speed up loan application processing, according to company disclosures. The company also introduced a new AI agent for loan officers at the MBAAnnual event to expand its technology offerings for financial professionals, as previously reported in company announcements. These releases underscore Blend’s ongoing focus on enhancing workflow tools for lenders.
