D-Wave Quantum powers NEDO win

D-Wave Quantum announced that its customer, Shionogi, secured first place in the Quality of Life category at the NEDO Challenge. The award-winning project utilized D-Wave Quantum’s technology for quantum-assisted drug discovery research.

The recognition highlights concrete achievements in research methods that benefit pharmaceutical innovation through the application of quantum computing solutions.

D-Wave Quantum recently reported that its stock slipped 1% to $11.54 ahead of its upcoming third quarter 2026 results release scheduled for November 10, according to company filings. Earlier, D-Wave Quantum entered a multi-year agreement with SkyWater Foundry to advance semiconductor manufacturing for quantum technology applications, as detailed in a prior collaboration announcement.
