Jamf: Mac Trojan malware surges

Jamf reports that Trojans now represent half of all Mac malware, marking an increase of more than 33 percentage points since 2024.

This figure is one of five key findings from the companys 2026 security research, which was cited in a recent industry roundup focused on pressing cybersecurity risks.

Earlier this year, Jamf rolled out Bring Your Own Key in Europe, giving organizations greater control over cloud data security and compliance, according to company statements. Jamf also acquired Keep Aware to add browser security features to its endpoint and mobile offerings, as detailed in recent coverage. The company has continued to broaden its reach in the security sector.
