Integration of digital assets in corporate finance
According to CoinDesk, Ripple has introduced two new functions in its corporate treasury platform, based on the GTreasury system acquired in 2025. The features, named "Digital Asset Accounts" and "Unified Treasury," allow financial teams to manage Ripple's digital assets alongside fiat balances.
These functions enable the tracking of XRP, RLUSD, and other supported token balances in real-time, automatically converting them to fiat currencies using current exchange rates. Transactions are also recorded with an accuracy of up to 15 decimal places, minimizing discrepancies during reconciliation.
Impact on corporate processes
The launch of this system positions Ripple as a leading player in corporate digital asset management, ahead of other treasury service providers. Unlike its competitors, Ripple has provided built-in digital asset integration, simplifying financial processes for companies worldwide.
Ripple's CEO, Renat Ver Eeke, stated that this integration has shifted the discussion from whether digital assets can be used in corporate transactions to how they can be incorporated without disrupting existing operations.
Transforming corporate treasury with digital assets
This move by Ripple opens new horizons for using digital assets within traditional financial systems.
Integration with GTreasury allows companies to not only manage fiat funds but also efficiently track their digital assets, offering opportunities to speed up transactions, reduce costs, and improve overall financial control.
It was earlier reported that more downside ahead as XRP holds near session high.
