XRP price rebounds from 200-day SMA as Ripple Prime expands
XRP is trying to stabilize after testing its 200-day SMA, while Ripple continues to expand its institutional trading business. The next test is whether buyers can hold $1.325 long enough to reopen the path toward $1.381.
Ripple is extending its institutional services through Ripple Prime with the addition of perpetual swaps on over 100 traditional assets such as stocks, indices, ETFs, and commodities. These products are now accessible via Trade.xyz and help institutional clients trade and hedge their positions beyond regular exchange hours.
The move strengthens Ripple’s presence in institutional finance, although the direct impact on XRP remains limited for now.
On the other hand, XRP still finds itself in an unfavorable demand situation. The circulating supply of XRP has grown by about 63% from 2017, going from 38.7 billion tokens to 63.1 billion tokens, whereas the inflow into XRP-linked investment products is still much lower compared to Bitcoin and Ethereum.

A hold above $1.325 could reopen the path toward $1.381
The scenario from the previous analysis played out in full. XRP failed to establish a sustained move above $1.381 and fell toward the $1.282 target, where the 200-day SMA is located.
After testing the moving average, the price bounced and moved back above the key $1.325 level. If XRP can remain above that mark for several sessions, resistance near $1.381 would become the next upside target.
If buyers lose $1.325 again, the chances of another test of the 200-day SMA near $1.282 would increase. A break below the moving average would weaken the technical structure and could accelerate the decline toward the next support level around $1.251.
The gap between Ripple and XRP remains important
The main issue is the growing disconnect between Ripple’s business expansion and XRP’s own price performance. Ripple continues to build out its institutional infrastructure, but weak capital inflows and the larger circulating token supply are limiting the benefit for XRP itself.
A more durable recovery will therefore require more than additional Ripple partnerships. XRP also needs a clearer improvement in direct demand for the asset.
