Institutions accelerate crypto entry before year end, Hunter Horsley notes
Institutions are moving into the crypto sector at an increasing pace, according to Hunter Horsley. In his comments following the @blockworksDAS event, Horsley indicated that the anticipated arrival of institutional players is quickly becoming reality. He stated that numerous institutions are already present in crypto, and a significant number more are expected to enter within the next six months, with much of this activity happening before year end.
Earlier this year, Hunter Horsley stated that major banks are joining crypto in 2026, boosting optimism for mainstream adoption of digital assets according to a previous report. He has also noted that blockchains and DeFi are transforming private banking and prime brokerage into open, digital platforms in separate comments. These developments continue to inform institutional strategies in the sector.
