Lagarde hosts Albuquerque at ECB dinner

Christine Lagarde, president at European Central Bank, welcomed Maria Luís Albuquerque, Commissioner for Financial Services and the Savings and Investments Union, to the ECB on Wednesday evening.

Lagarde stated that Albuquerque would join Governing Council members for an informal dinner discussion focused on the economy of Europe.

Lagarde has maintained a steady schedule of high-level meetings in recent months. She previously reconnected with former ECB Supervisory Board chair Andrea Enria during the IMF Meetings. In a separate update, Lagarde shared that Japanese Minister of Finance Satsuki Katayama attended an International Monetary and Financial Committee event.
