Jayendra Jog, co-founder and CEO at Sei Labs, outlines two critical specifications for settlement layers designed for ai agents: time to finality, which determines how quickly an agent can act, and mev exposure, considered a tax on the agent due to protocol inefficiency.

Jog highlights that the Giga chain was specifically developed to address both of these aspects.

Jog previously highlighted the trading advantages of multi-proposer chains, identifying Sedna as a core feature for Giga. He has also cautioned that agents remain too risky to handle significant funds for several months, according to a recent assessment. These developments come as Sei Labs continues to refine infrastructure for autonomous agents.
