But we saved everything 🙂.
Stani Kulechov, founder and chief executive officer at Avara, reported that the attacker’s rsETH on the Arbitrum network has been burned, with the next step being to refill the rsETH bridge lockbox.
Withdrawals for rsETH into ETH are expected to reopen within the next 24 hours as part of efforts to normalize the markets. Kulechov noted that the recent weeks, including weekends, have been highly intense due to these developments.
Earlier this month, Kulechov proposed that ETH frozen by the Arbitrum Security Council be released to DeFi United to aid the recovery of rsETH, according to a previous report. Consensys and ethereumJoseph have also contributed 30,000 ETH to DeFi United’s recovery efforts, as noted by Kulechov in an earlier update. The initiatives focus on supporting the stability of rsETH and maintaining confidence in DeFi.
