Jesse Cohen: Asian stock markets see steep declines on Black Friday
Asian stocks fall sharply on Black Friday

Jesse Cohen, senior markets analyst at Investing.com, observes that several major Asian stock markets recorded substantial losses on Black Friday.

Korea's Kospi fell 6.1%, Indonesia's IDX dropped 2%, Japan's Nikkei was down 1.7%, Hong Kong's Hang Seng lost 1.6%, and China's Shanghai Index declined 1%.

Cohen has previously tracked significant movements in Asian equities. Earlier this year, he highlighted the remarkable performance of Japan's stock market, describing its chart as "absolutely incredible." In a separate note, Cohen observed a sharp drop in Duolingo shares following earnings, pointing out the stock had once traded above $500 per share.
