Robert Leshner: Anthropic funding rounds lag behind SK Hynix, Micron and Intel returns
Anthropic rounds trail SK Hynix, Micron

Robert Leshner, CEO & Co-Founder at Superstate, compares returns on investments in high-profile tech companies and artificial intelligence funding rounds.

According to Leshner, investing $100 in each of Anthropic's Series E, F, G, and I funding rounds—corresponding to $61.5 billion, $183 billion, $380 billion, and $965 billion valuations—would result in $2,450.38 today. On the same investment dates, a $100 investment in SK Hynix would have grown to $2,496.92, in Micron to $2,146.51, and in Intel to $1,386.34.

Leshner has previously discussed new approaches to digital assets, including plans for an onchain tokenized stablecoin fund with Coinbase and Superstate. In earlier commentary, he noted that the Bitcoin whitepaper combined first-of-its-kind technology and its initial killer app in a single release. His recent investment comparisons follow these past observations on innovation in the sector.
