Poland data omits Ukrainian refugees

Ernie Tedeschi highlights that while Poland is often cited as a success story for economic growth, its per capita statistics for 2021-23 require additional context.

He notes that these numbers do not include Ukrainian refugees in Poland's population count, despite their active contribution to economic activity.

Tedeschi has recently analyzed other macroeconomic data. In a separate note, he discussed how solopreneurs are driving a divergence in post-2024 business applications. He also argued that lowering the U.S. fiscal deficit helps reduce the trade deficit.
