Rising real net worth at all ages, Ernie Tedeschi notes
Ernie Tedeschi highlights that it is typical for real net worth to increase as people age.
He points out that not only are Baby Boomers generally better off than earlier generations at comparable ages, but the same is true for Millennials and Gen-Xers.
Tedeschi has previously noted issues in official statistics, citing that Poland’s reported per capita economic growth for 2021-23 may be overstated due to the exclusion of Ukrainian refugees from population figures. In a separate analysis, he discussed a growth gap emerging after 2024 between total business applications and those likely to lead to employment. Tedeschi’s recent comments add to his ongoing analysis of demographic and economic trends.
