DeTommaso urges founders to consult available advisor equity benchmark resources before deciding on equity distribution.

Earlier this year, DeTommaso highlighted open venture capital roles at a16z, Alumni Ventures, and LvlUp Ventures in San Francisco and New York City, according to one report. She also reported that more than half of top decile VCs over the past decade were first-time and second-time funds in other findings. These observations come as DeTommaso continues to address industry practices in venture capital.
