S&P 500 has never been lower a year after streaks, Ryan Detrick notes
S&P 500 shows strength after win streaks

Ryan Detrick, chief market strategist at Carson Group, highlights that the S&P 500 ended its 9-day winning streak.

He points out that while historical data since 1950 shows future returns remain mostly normal after such streaks, periods since 1990 have seen better than average returns and no instance of a lower market a year later, based on a sample size of five.

Detrick previously discussed market trends and winning streaks during a bull market conversation from Wrigley rooftops. He has also stated on CNBC that the current bull market is not over. These remarks come as analysts continue to track momentum in major equity benchmarks.
