Salesforce accelerates acquisitions with larger deals

Brian Sozzi, reporter / analyst at Yahoo Finance, reports that Salesforce has acquired around two dozen companies since the beginning of 2025 to support Agentforce.

Recent deals have trended toward larger targets, including Informatica at about $8.3 billion, Qualified at $1.5 billion, Contentful at $1.5 billion, and now Fin. The acquisition spree marks a significant expansion effort for Salesforce.

Brian Sozzi has recently tracked notable movements in the tech sector, including Arm Holdings and ServiceNow shares rising after Nvidia’s Computex event. In a separate report, Sozzi cited Goldman Sachs projections for $5.3 trillion in capital expenditures by major hyperscalers from fiscal 2025 to 2030, signaling significant investment activity in technology infrastructure. The acquisition pace at Salesforce comes against this backdrop of rising sector activity.
