Jeremy Allaire: Agentic services drive USDC micropayment adoption in web services
Agentic web services embrace USDC micropayments

Jeremy Allaire, co-founder, chief executive officer and chairman at Circle, discusses the emergence of agentic services that utilize USDC for consumption-based micropayments.

He predicts that every web service will eventually be replaced by such agentic models in what he describes as the Agentic Economy.

Allaire has recently pointed to major USDC integrations in traditional finance. He highlighted BNY Mellon's new role as a primary USDC liquidity and custody hub. In another update, he noted Amazon's move to implement USDC payments for content owners when AI bots use their data.
