But we saved everything 🙂.
Alex Bosworth, head of infrastructure at Lightning Labs, states that Lightning Network (LN) privacy goes beyond its onion routing technology. According to Bosworth, LN gains real privacy advantages from its widespread use, with modern exchanges, merchants, and payment wallets actively supporting the network.
He notes that this broad adoption allows users to blend into larger groups of everyday participants, making privacy breaches significantly more difficult.
Bosworth previously highlighted the importance of maintaining BTC price floors for long-term network endurance in a 2023 note. He has also projected that shared UTXOs could drive Bitcoin Lightning Network volume to $1 trillion within the next decade, according to a prior forecast. These views reflect Bosworth’s continued focus on the infrastructure and adoption metrics supporting both privacy and scalability.
