Gregory Raymond, crypto journalist & commentator at Les Cryptos, reports that Bitstack has signed a $540,000 annual sponsorship deal with e-sports team Gentlemates.

According to Raymond, the Bitcoin-focused fintech will appear on the team's jersey throughout the 2026 season. The Gentlemates team was founded by prominent content creators xSqueeZie and Gotaga.

Raymond has previously reported on M&A activity in the sector, including KaikoData’s acquisition of competitor Amberdataio to expand its institutional crypto data operations to more than 250 clients and 100 exchanges (KaikoData acquires Amberdataio). In a separate analysis, he flagged regulatory risk as the main concern for crypto platforms like Hyperliquid, referencing parallels to the EtherDelta case (Main risk for Hyperliquid is regulatory).
