Shay Boloor: Amazon and Anthropic shift Claude pricing to token-based model in new deal — Amazon, Anthropic move to token pricing

Shay Boloor reports that Amazon and Anthropic have renegotiated part of their agreement to price usage of Anthropic's Claude AI model by tokens rather than compute hours, with the change set to begin next year.

Boloor notes that Amazon is also evaluating OpenAI and its own Nova models in an effort to reduce artificial intelligence costs.

Earlier, Shay Boloor reported that NBIS plans to invest over $9 billion in an AI cloud project in France with a 240MW capacity, marking one of Europe’s largest deployments. Boloor has also listed the top 15 stock performers for 2026, noting SNDK’s 781 percent gain among leading tickers. These developments highlight the increasing scale and diversification of activity in the AI and technology sectors.
