Javier Blas, energy and commodities columnist, journalist, author at Bloomberg, reports that Danish authorities have dropped a high profile case against a group of energy traders accused of market manipulation.
The case, which dates back to 2023, caused a significant stir in the electricity and gas trading community in Aarhus, a Danish town known as the Silicon Valley of European energy trading.
Blas has previously reported that China's oil imports in May fell 38% from the 2025 average. Separately, he noted that Iran could earn $60-$70 billion annually if oil exports return to pre-war levels. The latest decision by Danish authorities comes as global energy markets remain in focus.
