Treasury picks State Street S&P 500 ETF

Nate Geraci reports that the U.S. Treasury Department conducted due diligence on exchange-traded funds and has chosen the State Street SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 ETF (SPYM) as the default option for accounts linked to U.S. President Donald Trump.

The ETF features a fee of 0.02 percent, making it the lowest cost S&P 500 ETF available.

Geraci previously reported that SpaceX shares have climbed almost 50 percent since the IPO. He also announced the upcoming launch of 2x leveraged and inverse SpaceX ETFs, scheduled for tomorrow, with expectations of major trading volume at debut. These developments follow growing interest in low-cost exchange-traded products.
