ETF development is rapidly advancing past regulators, Nate Geraci notes
SEC seeks public input on ETF innovation

Nate Geraci highlights that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is seeking public comment on how new exchange-traded funds (ETFs), including those related to crypto and prediction markets, are introduced to the market.

Geraci observes that innovation in ETFs is moving much faster than regulators can keep pace, putting renewed focus on the need to balance innovation with investor protection. The discussion encompasses various emerging ETF categories such as crypto and prediction market ETFs.

Earlier this month, Geraci noted that SpaceX shares have climbed almost 50 percent since their initial public offering after the IPO. He also reported that 2x leveraged and inverse SpaceX ETFs are set to launch, with expectations of significant trading volume at the ETF launch. These developments come as the ETF market continues to evolve rapidly.
