Ursula von der Leyen: €52 million package and EU tariff proposal for Armenia
EU to ease Armenia export tariffs

Ursula von der Leyen announced a €52 million package aimed at strengthening Armenia's economy.

She also tabled a proposal to make 80 percent of Armenia's exports to the EU tariff-free, helping the country redirect products that currently depend on the Russian market toward the EU.

Von der Leyen has addressed other trade measures in recent statements. She recently noted that customs duties now apply to e-commerce parcels up to €150 entering the EU, affecting low-value imports. Earlier, she announced four major EU-Kazakhstan deals, including a €150 million loan for the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor.
