Tim Scott announces that TrumpAccounts are now available, allowing parents to open accounts for their children with up to $5,000 per year in tax-advantaged contributions. Eligible children are able to receive an initial deposit of $250 or $1,000.
Scott has previously called the Clarity Act historic legislation aimed at making digital assets safer and more transparent for Americans, according to a recent article. He also stated that digital assets will shape finance and urged the U.S. to lead the next wave of innovation in a separate post. The launch of TrumpAccounts adds to Scott's policy focus on digital assets and innovation.
