Gabor Gurbacs argues that Bitcoin is significantly undervalued at its current price level in the $64,000 to $65,000 range.
He contrasts the present situation to 2021, noting that at that time, the ecosystem was behind in terms of product development, regulatory clarity, and adoption. He highlights that there were no BTC ETFs, wire approvals, or certain innovations, and governments were generally less friendly toward crypto. Gurbacs adds that the market has since evolved, and expects that after leverage positions are cleared out, real price discovery for Bitcoin will begin.
Gurbacs has previously highlighted instances where traditional investment strategies lagged behind Bitcoin, noting that Vanguard investors saw nearly 80 percent losses on Strategy while Bitcoin performed significantly better. He has also questioned the accuracy of some industry disclosures, including the listing of firms as participants in the OUSD consortium without their agreement. These points have featured in his ongoing commentary on crypto markets.
