Sandeep Nailwal, CEO at Polygon Foundation, commented on a longstanding usability challenge in crypto adoption. Nailwal argued that if users cannot access cryptocurrencies without understanding seed phrases, the industry risks losing mainstream participants, such as new users' family members.
He pointed to the Open Money Stack, which provides embedded wallets at sign-up, as a way to eliminate this friction and streamline crypto onboarding.
Nailwal has recently urged followers not to underestimate Polygon, hinting that recognition for the platform may be forthcoming in his remarks on Polygon's status in the crypto sector. He also highlighted that Polygon turned net deflationary in 2026, with 107 million POL tokens burned and May recording 198 million transactions, according to recent platform data. These developments come as the Foundation continues to address core usability issues in crypto adoption.
