Unexpected shifts in markets after brief absence, Craig Shapiro notes
Market volatility follows Shapiro's return

Craig Shapiro returned from a week-long road trip with his family to find significant changes in the market. He expressed surprise at the market conditions upon his return and humorously noted that leaving the management to someone else led to a wilder outcome than expected.

Shapiro also mentioned that he will be joining 'The Sunday Open' crew to preview the upcoming macroeconomic week, inviting others to tune in for market discussions.

Shapiro previously observed the S&P 500 trading within a 7200–7500 range, describing continued indecision in the market in his recent note. In another report, he examined a surge in speculative short contracts in USD/JPY, reaching levels not seen in four decades ahead of a Bank of Japan decision. These updates came ahead of the significant market changes he found upon returning from his trip.
