Coinbase launches tokenized stocks on Base

Michael Geike, co-founder & CEO at Advanced Blockchain AG, reports that Coinbase has started offering tokenized U.S. stocks on Base, utilizing Chainlink for price feeds.

The launch was quickly covered by six major outlets, ranging from CoinDesk to Cointelegraph. Geike suggests this development could signal a shift as tokenization of equities moves from pilot to full production on a listed U.S. exchange.

Geike has previously commented on technical shifts in blockchain infrastructure. In an earlier article, he highlighted that Ethereum's upcoming upgrade will prioritize privacy, with 66 proposals targeting protocol-level integration. His observations track ongoing efforts to enhance both privacy and transparency in digital asset markets.
