Peter Schiff: NEM hits record high as investors price in higher gold earnings
NEM shares reach record high milestone

Peter Schiff, CEO and chief global strategist of Euro Pacific Capital, notes that NEM, the world's largest gold mining company, reached a new record high today.

He says this milestone was achieved even though gold prices would need to rise another 20% to match their own previous highs. According to Schiff, investors are increasingly factoring in expectations of sustained higher gold prices and lasting increases in future earnings for gold miners.

Schiff has recently commented on rising Treasury yields, noting the 30-year Treasury yield moved above 5.3 percent as U.S. debt reached $39.9 trillion. He has also reported on major asset sales, including Strategy selling 1,690 BTC and $653 million in MSTR shares. These updates follow his ongoing coverage of significant shifts in financial markets.
