Stani Kulechov: EIP-8363 for slashing Ethereum yield rejected from Hegotá fork
Ethereum EIP-8363 dropped from Hegotá

Stani Kulechov, founder and chief executive officer (CEO) at Avara, announced that EIP-8363, a proposed mechanism for slashing Ethereum yield, has been rejected from the Hegotá fork.

He considers the EIP to be effectively dead following this decision.

Kulechov has previously highlighted key developments in decentralized finance. He reported that Aave protocol established its own risk oracle in collaboration with Chainlink to improve DeFi risk assessment. Kulechov also noted that Aave V4 active loans reached $250 million, adding to $13 billion in total outstanding DeFi loans.
