Split Pay secures $125 million for rent float feature, Simon Taylor reveals
Split Pay raises $125 million for renters

Simon Taylor, co-founder at 11:FS, reports that Split Pay has raised $125 million from Khosla, Thrive, and Max Levchin to enable a service that floats half of a renter's payment for 30 days.

Taylor highlights that while the average income in the U.S. is $90,000 and typical cashflow is $2,100, the timing of wage payments and bills often misalign, making Split Pay's solution relevant for many people.

Taylor has previously highlighted Anthropic’s initiative to develop in-house billing and treasury technology. Earlier this year, he noted Revolut’s launch of EURR, a euro-pegged stablecoin, with phased rollout under MiCA rules. These updates reflect Taylor’s ongoing coverage of payments and financial technology developments.
